Jerome "Jerry" Katz, 82, of Detroit, Michigan, died on 24 February 2016. The Funeral was held at The David Oppenheim Memorial Chapel at Machpelah Cemetery, 21701 Woodward Ave, Ferndale, MI 48220 on Sunday, 28 February 2016 at 1:00 PM . Rabbi David Nelson officiated. The family of Jerome "Jerry" Katz will be gathering through the evening of Monday, February 29 at the residence of Minda Tilchin, 13302 Borgman, Huntington Woods MI 48070. The phone number is 248-545-1771. Religious services will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Sunday and Monday evenings. Family members include: Beloved husband of the late Stephanie Katz. Loving brother of the late Morris Katz, the late Anna Katz Brenner, the late Lillian (the late Ruben) Gold, the late Dr. Isadore (the late Celia) Katz, and the late Jeannette Tilchin. Dear brother-in-law of the late Mary Katz. Survived by many loving nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, great-great-nieces and great-great-nephews.
