Donald "Donnie" BigelmanDonald "Donnie" Bigelman, 73, of Daytona Beach, Florida (formerly of Detroit, MI), died on 14 February 2016. The Memorial Service was out of state on Friday, 19 February 2016 at 3:00 PM . Family members include: Cherished father of Randy (Louise) Bigelman of Portland, Maine and Greg (Kim) Bigelman of Smyrna, Georgia. Loving grandfather of Cassidy, Elijah, Clara, and Audrey Bigelman. Survived by girlfriend Carol Miller of Daytona Beach; sister Rhoda (Jerry Nix) Goldman of Troy, Michigan, and brother Jerry (Deborah Marwil) Bigelman of West Bloomfield, Michigan; several nieces and nephews and loved ones. Donnie graduated from Mumford High School and Michigan State University. In 1980, Donnie moved to Grand Cayman Island with his family. From 1980-2004 he owned and operated Oasis Gift Shop in the Cayman Islands. He loved his time living on the islands and also enjoyed spending his summers in Wayne, Maine. In 2008, Donnie moved to Daytona Beach. Donnie thoroughly loved life and found many passions during his life. He was an avid golfer, scuba diver, and sailor but most of all loved spending time with his many friends and family.
