Sylvia SteinbergerSylvia Steinberger, 92, of Southfield, Michigan, died on 13 February 2016. The Funeral was held at The David Oppenheim Memorial Chapel at Machpelah Cemetery, 21701 Woodward Ave, Ferndale, MI 48220 on Monday, 15 February 2016 at 10:00 AM . Interment at Machpelah Cemetery.
The family of Sylvia Steinberger will be gathering through the afternoon of Friday, February 19 at the residence of Paula Zaks Stein and Dan Stein, 25101 W. Roycourt, Huntington Woods MI 48070. The phone number is 248-541-3255. Religious services will be held at 7 PM Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday evenings. Family members include: Beloved wife of the late Dr. Eugene Steinberger. Cherished mother of Paula K. Zaks Stein (Dan Stein), Jill Alison (B. Roy) Moed, John Avery (Terry Love) Steinberger, and Joseph Eric (Rebecca) Steinberger. Loving grandma of David (Jeannette) LeZaks, Dr. Lisa (Dr. Konrad) Moed-Gruson, Rebecca Moed (Christian Tantillo, Carly Steinberger (Edgardo Perez Morales), Joseph Steinberger, Sara Steinberger, Joshua Steinberger, Michael (Renee) Stein, and Jakki Stein. Proud great-grandmother of Isadore Hugo LeZaks, Anna Michaela Gruson, Charles Gruson, and Alexis Stein. Dear sister of the late Eileen Geltman. Also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Mother in law of the late Michael I. Zaks and the late Dr. Saul Silverstein.
