Ludwig "Larry" Hiss, 86, of Ann Arbor, Michigan, died on 08 February 2016. The Funeral was held at Temple Beth Emeth, 2309 Packard St, Ann Arbor, MI 48104 on Thursday, 11 February 2016 at 11:00 AM . Rabbi Robert Levy officiated. Interment at Arborcrest Memorial Park, 2521 Glazier Way, Ann Arbor MI 48105.
The family of Ludwig "Larry" Hiss will be gathering through the evening of Thursday, February 11 at the residence, 3165 Miller Road, Ann Arbor MI 48103. The phone number is 734-665-7994. Religious services will be conducted at 7:00 P.M. Thursday evening. Larry, born in Boryslav, Poland, was a Holocaust survivor who emigrated to the United States in 1947. He served in the US Army. He founded Glamour Homes, a custom home building company in 1965 and was a respected builder for 40 years. He was an avid biker, volleyball player and dog lover. He will be remembered for his generous spirit and great sense of humor. He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Carolyn Hiss, his son Joe, his daughter and son-in-law Laura and Jonathan Ginns and his three grandsons, Aaron, Elliot and Oliver Ginns.
