Dr. Jack E. Portney, 93, of West Bloomfield, died on 02 September 2015. The Funeral was held at IRA KAUFMAN CHAPEL on Friday, 04 September 2015 at 10:30 AM . The family of Dr. Jack E. Portney will be gathering through the evening of Sunday, September 06 at the residence of Shelley and Lenny Hutton, 5199 Woodlands Dr, Bloomfield Hills MI 48302. The phone number is 248-723-1766. Religious Services will be held 7:00 p.m. Sunday. The family will gather immediately following interment through Friday afternoon, Saturday afternoon and evening, and Sunday afternoon and evening. Family members include: Beloved husband of 62 years of Rita Portney; Cherished father of Shelley (Lenny) Hutton, Steven (Deborah) Portney, and Jeff (Andi) Portney; loving grandpa of Michelle (Aaron) Bass, Sarah Hutton, Rachel Hutton, Morry Hutton, Rebecca Portney, David Portney, Daniel Portney, and Allison Portney; proud great-grandfather of Judah and Simon Bass; brother of the late Joseph (the late Ruth) Portney, the late Jean (the late Morris) Orloff, and the late Harry Portney; brother-in-law of Norma Sugar, Nora Stone, and the late Dr. Arnold Stone.
