A. Alfred Taubman, 91, of Bloomfield Hills, Michigan, died on 17 April 2015. The Funeral was held at Congregation Shaarey Zedek, 27375 Bell, Southfield MI 48034 on Tuesday, 21 April 2015 at 11:00 AM . Rabbis Joseph Krakoff, Aaron Starr and Hazzan David Propis officiated. Family members include: Beloved husband of Judith Taubman; Cherished father of Robert (Julie) Taubman, William (Ellen) Taubman and Gayle Taubman (Michael) Kalisman; Loving grandfather of Jason Taubman Kalisman, Philip Taubman (Hilary) Kalisman, Alexander Alfred Taubman, Ghislaine "Gogo" Taubman, Theodore Taubman, Sebastian Taubman, Oliver Taubman, Abigail Taubman, Tatiana Dubin; Proud great-grandfather of Aaron Falb Kalisman; Also survived by Judith's children, Christopher Rounick and Tiffany Dubin; Devoted son of the late Philip Taubman and the late Fannie Taubman; A. Alfred Taubman was pre-deceased by his former wife and mother of his children, Reva Kolodney Stocker; Brother of the late Goldye (the late Albert) Nelson, the late Sam Taubman and the late Lester (the late Shirley) Taubman; brother in law of Lola Taubman. Alfred Taubman will be gathering through Wednesday evening at The Townsend Hotel, 100 Townsend Street, Birmingham, MI 48009. The phone number is 248-642-7900. Friends are welcome to join the family at the Townsend Hotel on Tuesday from 12:45-3:30 p.m. and from 5:30-8:30 p.m., and on Wednesday from 5:30-8:30 p.m. Religious services will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday and Wednesday evenings.
