Dr. Daniel Schechter, 82, of Franklin, Michigan, died on 15 April 2015. The Funeral was held at IRA KAUFMAN CHAPEL on Friday, 17 April 2015 at 10:00 AM . Rabbi Aaron Starr and Hazzan David Propis officiated. Click  to watch a video of the recorded service.Interment at Clover Hill Park Cemetery.

Religious Services will be conducted at 7:00 p.m. Sunday, Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. The family requests visiting Sunday through Wednesday beginning at 3:00 PM. Family members include: The beloved husband of Sandra Schechter. Cherished father of Lisa (Artie) Bennett, Laura (Tom) Foligno, Marjorie Schechter, Dina (David) Niewood. Loving Zay of Hannah Foligno, Sylvie Foligno, Ava Niewood, Michaela Niewood and Rebecca Niewood. Dear brother of Lita (Allen) Zemmol. Devoted son of the late Morris and the late Rose Schechter.
