Dr. Nathan Rubin, 91, of West Bloomfield, Michigan, died on 27 March 2015. The Funeral was held at IRA KAUFMAN CHAPEL on Sunday, 29 March 2015 at 3:15 PM . Rabbi Elliot Pachter and Cantor Earl Berris officiated. Click  to watch a video of the recorded service.Interment at Clover Hill Park Cemetery.
The family of Dr. Nathan Rubin will be gathering through the evening of Monday, March 30 at the residence, 4413 Pinehurst Drive, West Bloomfield Mi 48322. The phone number is 248-855-4413. Religious Services will be held at 7:00 P.M. Sunday and Monday Evenings. Family members include: Nathan Rubin is survived by his beloved wife of 68 years Ellie Rubin; son and daughter-in-law Dr. Larry and Nori Rubin; granddaughters Rachel Rubin and fiance Tim Monahan and Jamie Rubin and fiance Jonathan Wachlarz; daughter Karen Kaufman and family; four great grand daughters; sister-in-law Helen Barnett and the late Milton Barnett; and many loving nieces and nephews. Father of the late Kenny Rubin; devoted son of the late Rose and the late Harry Rubin; and brother of the late Rachel Rubin. Nathan Rubin graduated from the University of Detroit Dental School in 1946 at the age of 23. He was a lifetime member of Alpha Omega Dental Association and a member of the Mensa Society. He bowled with Alpha Omega for many years, was an avid tennis player and golfer. He served in the Army during World War ll.
