Jeffrey C. Surnow, 63, of West Bloomfield, Michigan, died on 01 March 2015. The Funeral was held at Temple Israel, 5725 Walnut Lake Road, West Bloomfield, MI 48323 on Sunday, 08 March 2015 at 1:00 PM . Rabbi Harold Loss and Cantorial Soloist Neil Michaels officiated. The family of Jeffrey C. Surnow will be gathering through the evening of Tuesday, March 10 at the residence, 5460 Putnam, West Bloomfield MI 48323. The phone number is 248-626-8981. Religious Services will be conducted at 7:00 p.m. Sunday, Monday and Tuesday. Friends are welcome Sunday following the burial At Machpelah through the day and evening. Friends may begin their visits on Monday and Tuesday beginning at 1:30 p.m. each day. Family members include: Beloved husband of Elaine Surnow. Cherished father of Sam (Lauren Elkus) Surnow, Max Surnow, and Lisa Surnow. Devoted son of the late Jack Surnow and the late Pearl Surnow. Dear brother of Michael (Sherry) Surnow. Adoring uncle of Adam Surnow, Katie Surnow, and Hannah Surnow. Son-in-law of Blanche Brant and the late Benjamin Brant. Brother-in-law of Norman Brant and the late Jacqueline Brant. Also survived by his nephews Scott (Megan) Brant, Ronnie (Lindsey) Brant, Noah Brant, and a world of friends. OVER THE LAST SEVERAL DAYS, WE HAVE BEEN MONITORING THE NUMBER OF PHONE CALLS AND VISITS TO OUR WEBSITE, AND DUE TO THE OUTPOURING OF LOVE AND SUPPORT FOR THE SURNOW FAMILY AND THE LOVE SHOWN BY THE COMMUNITY FOR MR. SURNOW, THE DECISION WAS MADE TO MOVE THE FUNERAL FROM OUR CHAPEL TO TEMPLE ISRAEL. It is suggested that those who wish to further honor the memory of Jeffrey C.
