Sophie Smiler, 92, of Farmington Hills, Michigan, died on 04 November 2014. The Memorial Service was held at IRA KAUFMAN CHAPEL on Thursday, 06 November 2014 at 12:00 PM . Rabbi Joshua Bennett officiated. Click  to watch a video of the recorded service.Interment at Clover Hill Park Cemetery.

The phone number is 248-553-9595. Religious services will be held at 7 PM Thursday evening. Family members include: Beloved wife of the late Irving Smiler. Cherished mother of Joseph Smiler and the late Cynthia Rich. Dear mother-in-law of Marc Rich. Loving grandmother of David and Jodi Rich. Also survived by her step daughter Joann Schecter and her children and grandchildren. Sister of Louis (Lorraine) Kanaras, the late Bessie Stopczy, the late Gus Kanaras, and the late George (Barbara) Kanaras.
