Gertrude Resnik, 104, of Southfield, Michigan, died on 04 November 2014. The Memorial Service was held at IRA KAUFMAN CHAPEL on Wednesday, 05 November 2014 at 2:00 PM . Rabbi Joseph Krakoff officiated. Click  to watch a video of the recorded service.Interment at Clover Hill Park Cemetery.
Family members include: Beloved wife of the late Tubie Resnik. Cherished mother of Penny (the late David) Trenk and Molly (John Martin) Resnik. Loving grandmother of Lawrence (Jill Kaplan) Trenk, Richard (Nancy Sivilli) Trenk and Michael (Alison) Trenk. Also survived by John Martin's children Lynn (Amy Small) Martin and the late Brad Martin. Adoring great grandmother of Diana Trenk, Mackenzie Trenk, Matthew Trenk, Melissa Trenk, Robert Trenk, Andrew Trenk, Ashley Digiuseppi, Alex Digiuseppi and Marisa Digiuseppi. Also survived by Lora Goldwater. Gertrude was the last of 9 children and their spouses of the late Louis and the late Doris Smith; sister of the late Charles (Lillian) Smith, Barney (Marion) Smith, David (Ilene) Smith, Abraham (Rose) Smith, Irving (Helen) Smith, Zelda (Carl) Demont, Fanny (Harry) Srere, Morton (Shirley) Smith and Sol Smith. The Family asks that ABSOLUTELY NO FLOWERS be sent.
