Harriet Victor Goldberg, 88 , of Franklin, Michigan, died on 11 October 2014.

The Memorial Service was held at IRA KAUFMAN CHAPEL on Tuesday, 14 October 2014 at 12:30 PM .

Rabbi Joseph Krakoff officiated.

The family of Harriet Victor Goldberg will be gathering through the evening of Thursday, October 16 at the residence of Sheila and Barry Levine, 30275 Helmandale, Franklin MI 48025. The phone number is 248-626-0111.

Due to the festival of Sukkot, there will be no formal shiva period. The family will be gathering informally immediately following burial at Clover Hill Park Cemetery through 9:00P.M. Then on Wednesday and Thursday evenings from 3:00 P.M.- 9:00 PM.

Beloved wife of the late Jack Goldberg; Cherished mother of Sheila (Barry) Levine, Diane (Patrick) Thomas, Steven Goldberg and the late Bonnie Goldberg; Loving Grandma Harriet of Sandy (Heather) Levine, Jordan (Fiance Shauna Bonkowski) Levine, Perry Goldberg, Ian (Fiance Ashley Wenson) Goldberg and Jolie Goldberg; Great Grandmother of Julius Levine and Astor Levine; Devoted daughter of the late Samuel and the late Jennie Victor; Dear Sister of the late Judith (the late Dr. Samuel) Stulberg, the late Harold Victor and the late Shirley (the late Marvin) Finkel; Sister in Law of Marjorie Victor, the late Harry (the late Jennie) Goldberg, the late Morris (the late Ada) Goldberg, the late Alex (the late Celia) Goldberg, the late Abe (the late Corinne) Goldberg, the late Rudy (the late Lillian) Goldberg, the late Nathan Goldberg and the late Rose (the late Harry) Survitz;

Harriet Goldberg was the Co-Founder with her husband Jack of Stage Deli in 1962 on 9 Mile Road in Oak Park. They moved to their current location on Orchard Lake in West Bloomfield in 1982. Harriet was very active with the Children's Luekemia Foundation of Michigan and a member of Shaarey Zedek. IN TRIBUTE TO HARRIET, STAGE DELI WILL BE DONATING ALL PROFITS FROM SALES ON SUNDAY, OCTOBER 19TH, TO THE PETER AND DOROTHY BROWN ADULT DAY CARE PROGRAM IN WEST BLOOMFIELD, WHICH ASSISTS PATIENTS WITH ALZHEIMERS DISEASE BY OFFERING A DAILY PLACE TO INTERACT WITH THOSE WHO HAVE SIMILAR MEMORY DISORDERS.
