Dr. Richard Merkle
Dr. Richard Merkle, 75, of West Bloomfield, Michigan, died on 30 September 2014. The Memorial Service was held at IRA KAUFMAN CHAPEL on Thursday, 02 October 2014 at 12:00 PM . Rabbi Marla Hornsten officiated. Click  to watch a video of the recorded service.Interment at Clover Hill Park Cemetery.
The family of Dr. Richard Merkle will be gathering through the afternoon of Friday, October 03 at the residence, 2574 Comfort Street, West Bloomfield MI 48323. The phone number is 248-851-1560. The family will be gathering on Thursday immediately following the interment and on Friday from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Religious services will be conducted on Thursday evening at 7:00 p.m. Family members include: Beloved husband of 50 years of Linda Merkle. Cherished father of Dr. Laura (Michael) Gruskin, Dr. Suzanne (Dr. Alan Silverman) Merkle and Karen (Michael Finkelstein) Merkle. Proud Papa of Eric, Alex and Nikolas Gruskin, Brittany, Bradley and Jenna Silverman, and Alexandra, Jackson and Julia Finkelstein. Dear brother-in-law of Dr. Lary (Janice) Berkower and Dr. Morrie Dubin. Devoted son of the late Sam and the late Elsie Merkle. Dear son-in-law of the late Saul and the late Alice Berkower. Loving brother of the late Phyllis Dubin. Also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, friends and colleagues.
