Alexander S. Karp, 89, of West Bloomfield, Michigan, died on 08 September 2014. The Memorial Service was held at IRA KAUFMAN CHAPEL on Wednesday, 10 September 2014 at 11:00 AM . The family of Alexander S. Karp will be gathering through the evening of Monday, September 15 at the residence, 6635 Pleasant Lake Court, West Bloomfield MI 48322. The phone number is 248-788-9670. The family respectfully asks for their privacy each day from 4:30-6:30 p.m. Religious services will be held at 7:15 p.m. on Wednesday, Thursday, Sunday and Monday evenings. Shiva will conclude each evening at 9:00 p.m. Family members include: Beloved husband of 56 years of Gabriella Karp. Cherished father of Gary Karp (Brenda Wayne) and David (Judy) Karp. Proud grandfather of Jaime, Allison, Adam, Lindsey, Danielle and Jaynie Karp. Dear brother-in-law of Thomas (Agnes) Lugosi and Dianne Burger. Also survived by Beth Karp, loving in-laws, many adoring nieces, nephews, cousins and friends, and business partner of 45 years, Earl (Renee) Ishbia. Devoted son of the late Ignacz and the late Mariska Karp. Loving brother of the late Martha Karp, the late Roszi Moss and the late David Z. Burger.
