Julius J. Harwood, 95, of West Bloomfield, Michigan, died on 04 September 2014. The Memorial Service was held at IRA KAUFMAN CHAPEL on Sunday, 07 September 2014 at 12:30 PM . Family members include: Beloved husband for 31 years to Naomi (Cecile) Harwood. Devoted father of Dane (Amy Uhrbach) Harwood, Gail (Robert) Katz, Caren Harwood, Rochelle Upfal and Nathan Upfal. Loving grandfather of Mara Leichtman, Hava Leichtman, Ari Leichtman, Alexa Feldman, Bethany Feldman, Jessica Upfal, Joshua Upfal, and Alex Harwood. Cherished brother of the late Lillian (Al) Scheiber. Dear brother in law of the late Elliot Beitner. Devoted son of the late Rebecca and the late Louis Horowitz. Also survived by many loving nieces, nephew, cousins, friends, and devoted care givers Chris and Sam Ward. Naomi Harwood will be observing shiva Sunday and Monday at the residence of her daughter, Rochelle Upfal, 3654 Ridgeland Road, West Bloomfield, MI 48323. Religious services will be held at 6 PM Sunday evening and 7 PM Monday evening. Julius' children (Gail Katz, Caren Harwood, and Dane Harwood) will be observing the shiva period at Gail and Robert Katz's residence, 2080 Bloomfield Woods Court, West Bloomfield, MI 48323. Religious services will be held Sunday and Monday evenings at 7 PM. It is suggested that those who wish to further honor the memory of Julius J.
