Hanna Trute Linden



Hanna Trute Linden, 97, of West Bloomfield, Michigan, died on 01 September 2014.

The Memorial Service was held at IRA KAUFMAN CHAPEL on Wednesday, 03 September 2014 at 3:00 PM .

Rabbi Harold Loss and Cantor Michael Smolash officiated.

The family of Hanna Trute Linden will be gathering through the evening of Thursday, September 04 at the residence of Sanford and Karen Linden, 33776 Old Timber Rd., Farmington Hills Mi 48331. The phone number is 248-661-4469.

Religious Services will be held at 7:00 P.M. Wednesday and Thursday evenings. The family has requested friends visit beginning at 2:00 P.M. Thursday through 8:30 P.M. Thursday evening.

Family members include:
Beloved wife of the late J. Stewart "Jack" Linden; Cherished mother of Dr. Jill Linden (Dr. Arthur Sowers), Saphira Barbara Linden, Allan (Pauline) Linden and Sanford (Karen) Linden; She was adored by her six grandchildren, Asatar Bair (Felicity Lanier), Geoffrey (Dr. Carey) Linden, Steven (Samantha) Linden, Rabbi Ethan (Nadya) Bair, Joshua Linden and Emily Linden; Loved GG of Xavier Bair, Ocean Bair, Jack Linden, Morgan Linden, Shaun LInden, Cody Linden and Jessa Linden; She is also survived by her brother Lawrence (Arlene) Trute and sister in law Bernice (the late Bernard) Linden; She was the "big sister" of late Lillian (the late Gabriel) Moscow and the late Esther (the late Morris) Bowne and the sister in law of the late Honorable Joseph S. and the late Helen Linden; She will be missed by many loving nieces and nephews.

Hanna graduated from Wayne University with a Bachelors in Education and was an award winning elementary school teacher, a Boy Scout and Girl Scout Leader and a PTA President. She sang in many choruses and was very active in Adat Shalom's Sisterhood. She was awarded the prestigious "Heart of Gold" Medallion for outstanding community service.
