Marion August, 93, of Farmington Hills, Michigan, died after sunset on 19 August 2014. The Memorial Service was held at The David Oppenheim Memorial Chapel at Machpelah Cemetery, 21701 Woodward Ave, Ferndale, MI 48220 on Thursday, 21 August 2014 at 12:30 PM . The family of Marion August will be gathering through the afternoon of Thursday, August 21 at the residence of Linda Gershenson, 1254 Cottingham Row, Bloomfield Hills MI 48302. Immediately following the burial at Machpelah Cemetery, friend are welcome to join the family for the Sudat Havrah (Meal of Condolence) at Linda Gershenson's home where the family will gather through the afternoon. Family members include: Beloved wife of the late Sam August; Cherished mother of Robert August, Linda Gershenson and Karen (Kenneth) Stern; Loving GG of Nicolle (Aaron) Obermyer, Heather (Fiance Will Ezzell) August, Jill (Seth) Cohenand Jason (Fiance Meghan Stone) Stern; Great grandmother of Chloe and Cooper Cohen and Payton Obermyer; Sister of the late Shirley (the late Maurice) Neeman and the late Norman (the late Dora) Silets; Also survived by Joel Gershenson.
