Dr. Herman Lifton, 95, of Southfield, Michigan, died on 04 May 2014. The Memorial Service was held at The David Oppenheim Memorial Chapel at Machpelah Cemetery, 21701 Woodward Ave, Ferndale, MI 48220 on Wednesday, 07 May 2014 at 1:00 PM . Rabbi David Polter officiated. Interment at Machpelah Cemetery.
The family of Dr. Herman Lifton will be gathering through the evening of Wednesday, May 07 at the residence of Cathy Dobrowitsky, 25420 Parkwood, Huntington Woods Mi 48070. Family members include: Beloved husband of 70 years of Pola Lifton (03/28/2014); Cherished father of Estralee Michaelson, Cathy (the late Marc) Dobrowitsky and Jimmy (Paulette) Lifton; Loving Poppy of Derek Michaelson, Josh (Katy) Dobrowitsky, Lindsay (Matthew) Schindler and Jessie Lifton; Great grandfather of Peter, Owen, and Charlie Dobrowitsky, Madeleine and Ari Schindler; Brother of the late Marilyn Joyce Lifton and the late Fred Lifton; Brother in Law of Roselle Lifton, William (Ricky) Winokur, and the late Melvina (the late Ray) Feldman.
