Leonard Horwitz, 98, of West Bloomfield, died on 03 May 2014. The Memorial Service was held at IRA KAUFMAN CHAPEL on Sunday, 04 May 2014 at 3:00 PM . Rabbi Elliot Pachter and Cantor Earl Berris officiated. Click  to watch a video of the recorded service.Interment at Machpelah Cemetery.
The family of Leonard Horwitz will be gathering through the evening of Sunday, May 04 at the residence of Judy and Israel Taub (Niece and Nephew), 5077 Pheasant Cove, West Bloomfield MI 48323. The phone number is 248-683-5380. Religious services will be held at 7 PM Sunday evening. Family members include: Beloved husband of the Late Zora Horwitz and the Late Anne Hirshfield Horwitz. Cherished father of Donald (Suzanne) Horwitz, Lawrence (Lois) Horwitz, and Anne's children Stuart (Joanne) Hirshfield, and Arthur (Debra) Hirshfield. Loving Papa of Lynn (Craig) Persin, Michelle Horwitz, Stephen (Joanna) Horwitz, Erica Horwitz, Adam (Jessica) Hirshfield, Ben (Leanne) Hirshfield, Shauna (Steve) Hirshfield-Blendell, Alicia Zhao, Laura Hirshfield, and the Late Joshua James Hirshfield; Great Grandfather of Aleck Persin, Ellie Horwitz and Annie Hirschfield; Brother of the Late Sam Horwitt and the Late Dorothy Fish. Also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
