Albert FischerAlbert Fischer, 96, of Farmington Hills, Michigan, died on 28 April 2014. The Memorial Service was held at IRA KAUFMAN CHAPEL on Thursday, 01 May 2014 at 1:30 PM . The family of Albert Fischer will be gathering through the afternoon of Friday, May 02 at the residence, 37266 Brentwood Circle, Farmington Hills MI 48331. The phone number is 248-788-2720. Religious services will be held on Thursday evening at 7:00 p.m. Mr. Fischer lived in Detroit, went to Central High School and attended Wayne State University. While in WWII, he fought in the Battle of the Bulge. He had his own insurance business, was a devoted member of Temple Israel, and was a docent of 20+ years at the Holocaust Memorial Center. He is survived by his ever loving wife of 72 years, Marti Fischer. He is the adoring father of Sherry Zeiger, the late Robert (the late Nancy) Fischer and Susan (Christopher) Tarnas. He is also survived by his grandchildren, who were the love of his life: Josh Zeiger, Evan and Emily Fischer, and Skyler and Dylan Tarnas. He is also survived by dear nieces, nephews, and friends.
