Harold Landis died on 14 March 2014. The Memorial Service was held at IRA KAUFMAN CHAPEL on Sunday, 16 March 2014 at 3:00 PM . Rabbi David Nelson, Rabbi Daniel Syme and Cantor Rachel Kalmowitz officiated. Click  to watch a video of the recorded service.Interment at Machpelah Cemetery.
The family of Harold Landis will be gathering through the evening of Tuesday, March 18 at the residence, 13147 Balfour, Huntington Woods MI 48070. The phone number is 248-548-2798. Religious services will be held at 7 PM Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday evenings. The family requests that friends may join them on Monday and Tuesday Evenings for services. Due to an illness in the family, privacy is requested during the day, Monday and Tuesday. Family members include: Beloved husband of 59 years of the Late Ethelwyn "Wyn" Landis. Cherished father of Leonard "Lenny" (Wendy) Newman and David Landis (Partner Michael Paoletta). Loving grandfather of Dr. Paula Anne Newman- (Kevin) Casey, Leah and Dr. Collin Stutz, and Matthew Newman. Brother of the Late Shirley (the Late Robert L) Cohen. Harold was a former owner of the Harbor Inn and Wyn and Harold Catering.
