Harry Gordon
Harry Gordon, 55, of Lakeland, Florida, died on 04 March 2014. The Memorial Service was out of state on Tuesday, 11 March 2014 at 11:00 AM . He is survived by his daughter, Kristen Gordon (Daniel Stanek) of Lakeland; son, Erik Gordon of Orlando; his sister, Barbara (Philip) Beaudette of Atlanta, GA; his partner, Karen Neubart of Lakeland; and brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Glen and Kay Christianson of Minneapolis, MN. He also leaves one grandson, Logan Stanek. He was preceded in death by his wife, Donna Christianson Gordon in 2003, and parents David and Jane Gordon of West Bloomfield, MI. Harry was General Manager of Operations for Taylor Rental Company for the greater Tampa Bay Area and was known far and wide from Detroit, Michigan, where he was born, to Lakeland, Florida where he lived his adult life. He was a graduate of West Bloomfield High School, West Bloomfield, Michigan and attended Western Michigan University where he became a member of Lambda Chi Alpha fraternity. Harry lived a kaleidoscope of life enjoying automobiles, radio broadcasting, camping and his family and friends. He was member of a variety of civic clubs, and a past member of Temple Emmanuel in Lakeland. An outwardly friendly and gregarious person, Harry made quick acquaintances and lasting friendships. He will always be remembered for his sense of humor and his willingness to go the extra mile to help out someone. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, March 11, 2014 at 11:00 AM at the Gentry - Morrison Funeral Home - Southside Chapel located at 1727 Bartow Road, Lakeland.
