David KornDavid Korn, 95, of Southfield, Michigan, died after sunset on 26 February 2014. The Memorial Service was held at IRA KAUFMAN CHAPEL on Sunday, 02 March 2014 at 2:00 PM . Mr. Korn is survived by his niece, Judy Lutz, his dear friend and counselor Dan Serlin; Dan’s family, Miry, Andrew and Leia Serlin. In addition, a dream team of Care Managers and Caregivers who loved and respected Mr. Korn including: Beverly King, Lauren Kerman, Jodie Jacobs, Ileane Stone, Bobbie Blitz, Kim Owens, Joyce Blackburn, Yolland Dickerson, Angeliece Ball, Leona Foster and honorary Care Manager Katelyn Kerman. Mr. Korn was predeceased by his niece Miriam Korn Lutz and his parents Benjamin and Sprinca Korn and siblings who perished in the Holocaust. Friends of David Korn will be gathering through the evening of Sunday, March 2 at the residence of Dan and Miry Serlin, 33464 Heritage Hills, Farmington Hills MI 48331 for friends to call. The phone number is 248-661-8689. Mincha services will be held at the Serlin home on Sunday afternoon immediately following the seudat havra'ah, the meal of condolence.
