Leatrice "Lea" Lefkowitz, 87, of Farmingtn Hills, MI, died on 22 February 2014. The Funeral was held at IRA KAUFMAN CHAPEL on Monday, 24 February 2014 at 2:30 PM . The family of Leatrice "Lea" Lefkowitz will be gathering through the evening of Tuesday, February 25 at the residence of Barry and Nancy Lefkowitz, 565 W Frank St., Birmingham MI 48009. The phone number is 248-792-9430. Religious services will be conducted at 7:00 PM Monday and Tuesday evenings. The family will begin gathering on Tuesday beginning at 3:00 PM Family members include: Beloved wife of the late Bernard Lefkowitz. Loving mother of Barry (Nancy) Lefkowitz, Carol (Edwin) Meyers, Morris (Laurie) Lefkowitz and Shelley (Howard) Goldman. Cherished grandmother of Dana (Dr. Brent) Luria, Brad Lefkowitz, Lauren Lefkowitz, Heather Meyers, Carley Meyers, Brandon Lefkowitz, Matthew Lefkowitz, Jarrod Goldman and Elizabeth Goldman. Adored great grandmother of Joey Luria. Daughter of the late Morris and the late Gertrude Shapiro. Dear sister of Barbara (Benjamin) Harshav, the late Roslyn (the late Meyer) Kravitz and the late Norma (the late Jack) Rosenfeld. Also survived by Gloria Lefkowitz and many loving nieces and nephews.
