She was preceded in death by her husband Joseph Siegel, Jr. (1918-1996). She is survived by her sister-in-law Caroline S. Miller and her nieces and nephews. Ethel was born in 1920 to her loving parents Joseph Miller, born Nathan Schulman in Austria 1879, and Sarah Miller nee Sarah Levy, born in New Jersey October 1890. She was also preceded in death by her brother William H. Miller, (1918-2007). On February 4, 1961, Ethel married Joseph Siegel, Jr. Her final resting place will be in the Siegel Family Mausoleum, Woodmere Cemetery, Detroit, Michigan.

Ethel always had the spirit of achievement. As a young lady, Ethel first made the newspapers when she was the highest seller of war bonds to support the U.S. troops in World War II. Ethel decided to put her war bond sales techniques to work and became a pioneer in representing the manufacturing industry. As an aspiring saleswoman, Ethel joined her brother William in starting Miller & Associates, a firm specializing in representing manufacturers throughout the United States. Ethel earned much notoriety from her success in representing and bringing to market the Hula Hoop and bringing Coppertone to market in Michigan and the Upper Midwest, among other companies. In her final days, prior to retiring, Ethel traveled and worked for Mallory Industries selling snowbrushes, sponges, squeegees, aluminum poles, and other items. She will be missed.
