Nettie StewartNettie Stewart, 97, of Coral Springs, FL, formerly of Detroit, MI, died after sunset on 03 February 2014. The Funeral was held at IRA KAUFMAN CHAPEL on Wednesday, 05 February 2014 at 1:00 PM . Rabbi Herbert Yoskowitz officiated. The family of Nettie Stewart will be gathering through the evening of Monday, February 10 at the residence of Joseph and Martha Stewart, 23211 Gardner, Oak Park MI 48237. Religious services will be held at 7:00 a.m. on Thursday, Friday, Sunday, Monday and Tuesday mornings and at 5:45 p.m. on Wednesday, Thursday, Sunday and Monday evenings. Family members include: Beloved wife of the late Meyer.Loving mother of Roger, Joseph and Janet.Dearest grandmother of Sheri, Michael, Eli, Shayni and Levi and great-grandmother of Ilana, Aidan, Katie and Mark. She was predeceased by her parents, Isadore and Gussie, her brothers Al, Bill, and sisters Beatrice and Vicky. Nettie is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, other family members and friends. Nettie enjoyed many years as a caring mother and happy grandmother and great grandmother. She was a longtime member of Hadassah and ORT. She enjoyed her family, friends, synagogue, bridge and Hadassah.
