Lama Shetzer


Lama Shetzer, 94, of Southfield Michigan, died on 21 January 2014.

The Funeral was held at The Davidson/Hermelin Chapel at Clover Hill Park, 2425 14 Mile Rd, Birmingham MI 48009 on Thursday, 23 January 2014 at 3:45 PM .

Rabbi Aaron Bergman and Cantor Daniel Gross officiated.

The family of Lama Shetzer will be gathering through the evening of Sunday, January 26 at the residence of Judith and Stanley Frankel, 663 South Hill Drive, Bloomfield Hills MI 48302. The phone number is 248-594-5462.

Religious Services will be held at 7:30 Thursday evening and 7:00 Sunday evening. Due to the limited parking on South Hill Drive, the family has arranged parking Thursday and Sunday from the Way Elementary School on the South side of Long Lake Road, 1/2 mile east of Telegraph where vans will shuttle back and forth to the residence.

Beloved wife of the late Samuel Shetzer; Cherished mother of Alan (Jan) Shetzer, Judith (Stanley) Frankel and Jane (Stanley) Zukin; Loving grandmother of Jamie (Dawn) Shetzer, Heidi (Mark) Helfand, Caren (Robert) Vondell, Aaron (Carolynn) Frankel, David Zukin, Eric (Em Peterson) Zukin and Renee Zukin (Andrew Epstein); Adoring GiGi of Delilah and Daisey Shetzer, Samuel and Julia Helfand, Lindsay and Jillian Vondell, Laurel, Shelby, Evan, Chloe and Esther Zukin; Sister of the late Sonia (the late Morris) Goldman.

Lama Shetzer was a lifelong member of Congregation Shaarey Zedek.
