Dr. Gerald Rakotz, 74, of Bloomfield Hills, Michigan, died on 25 February 2012. The Funeral was held at IRA KAUFMAN CHAPEL on Monday, 27 February 2012 at 2:00 PM . Rabbi Harold Loss and Cantor Michael Smolash officiated. Interment at Clover Hill Park Cemetery.

Family members include: Beloved Husband of Sharon Rakotz; Cherished Father of Dr. Cindy Rakotz (Dr. Michael) Solomon, Julie Rakotz Aijala (Adam Aijala) and Dr. Michael Rakotz (Fiance Dr. Meredith Belber); Loving Grandfather of Zachary Solomon, Jessie and Jake Lowell; Also survived by Sharon's Children; Marlyn (Tom) Cupelis and Nicole (Michael) Menuck; their children Paige and Ellery Cupelis and Mollie Menuck; Brother of Sheldon (Lori) Rakotz. Brother-in-law of Arlene and Fred Miller. Also survived by a loving family and a world of friends.
