Dave Sakwa, 87, of Farmington Hills, MI, died on 19 February 2012. The Funeral was held at IRA KAUFMAN CHAPEL on Tuesday, 21 February 2012 at 10:00 AM . The family of Dave Sakwa will be gathering through the evening of Thursday, February 23 at the residence of Gary and Rebecca Sakwa, 5130 Deep Wood, Bloomfield Hills MI 48302. The phone number is 248-203-9999. Religious services will be conducted at 7:00 PM Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday evenings. There will be shuttle service from the library at Lone Pine and Telegraph to the shiva house. Family members include: Beloved husband of 61 years of Joyce Sakwa. Cherished father of Stuart (Randi) Sakwa, Gary (Rebecca) Sakwa and Jeffrey(Kimberly) Sakwa. Loving Papa Dave of Ryan Sakwa, Hayley Sakwa, Ashley Sakwa, Gregory Lewis, Ian Sakwa and Blair Sakwa. Devoted son of the late Samuel and the late Ida Sakwa. Brother of the late Saul Sakwa and the late Tillie Sakwa Nusbaum. Brother-in-law of Ruth and Arnold Colman, Arnold and Mary Davidson and the late Jean Davidson. Also will be greatly missed by cousins and dear friends Leon and Barbara Zolkower and many loving nieces and nephews.
