Gerald H. Oram, 79, of West Bloomfield, Michigan, died on 05 January 2012. The Funeral was held at IRA KAUFMAN CHAPEL on Sunday, 08 January 2012 at 12:30 PM . The family of Gerald H. Oram will be gathering through the evening of Sunday, January 08 at the residence of Louise Oram, 5525 Woodland Ct., West Bloomfield MI 48323. The phone number is 248-788-1211. Religious services will be conducted at 6:30 PM Sunday evening. Family members include: Cherished Father of Lisa Oram (Steven Brown), Ronda Oram (Gregg) Pavalon and Renee Oram-(Marc Mitchell); Loving Grandfather of Isabel and Rachel Oram-Brown, Resa and Jenna Magill and Lucas Oram-Mitchell; Devoted Son of the late William and the late Rose Oram; Brother of Charles (Rhoda) Oram, the late Shirlee E. Sachs and the late Edwin Oram; Brother in Law of Mischa Sachs; Also survived by his nephew William (Donna) Oram and his former wife Louise Oram. Jerry lived his life simply by working hard and taking joy in his family. He enjoyed many long friendships, including some that extend back to his 12th Street neighborhood in Detroit and Hutchinson Junior High. He made new friends easily and was well loved wherever he went, especially for his sense of humor. During five years of declining health, Jerry was unruffled by obstacles. He never lost hope or optimism while gracefully accepting his ever-increasing limitations. He will be missed. It is suggested that those who wish to further honor the memory of Gerald H.
