Burton L. Stern Burton L. Stern, 85, of Deerfield, Illinois, died on 28 May 2011. The Funeral was held at Shalom Memorial Funeral Home in Illinois on Tuesday, 31 May 2011 at 10:00 AM . Interment at Shalom Memorial Park in Arlington Heights, IL.
Family members include: Beloved Husband for 58 wonderful years of Claire Lugassy Stern, Loving Father of Michael Stern, Dr. Sheldon Stern (Rabbi Marla Hornsten), Rachel (Marc) Bruell and Judy (Jay) Nachowiitz; Cherished Grandpa of Danielle, Erica, Lilly, Jessica, Jordan, Michael, Jacques, Elliott, Alyssa, Benji and Danny; Devoted Son of the late Emil and the late Rebecca Stern; Dear Brother of Marshall (Betty) Stern and Alice (Larry) Sholler; treasured uncle,cousin and friend of many. Dr.Sheldon Stern and Rabbi Marla Hornsten will be returning from observing shiva in Chicago and will be gathering on Sunday from 3:00-7:00 PM. for friends to call.
