FUNERAL DETAILS
Mrs. Myra YedwabMrs. Myra Yedwab, 73, of Lakewood, New Jersey, died on 08 October 2006. The Funeral was held at Temple Beth Am, Lakewood, New Jersey on Wednesday, 11 October 2006 at 11:30 AM . Rabbi Paul Yedwab officiated. Interment at Beth Olom. Family members include: Beloved Wife of Rabbi Stanley Yedwab, Rabbi Emeritus of Temple Beth Am in Lakewood, New Jersey; Loving Mother of Rabbi Paul(Wendy)Yedwab of Temple Israel in West Bloomfield, Michigan and Laura(Daniel)Weise of Seattle, Washington; Adoring Grandmother of Ariella, Jesse and Zoe Yedwab and Nathan Weise. Myra was a Noted Jewish Educator who organized the concept of Mitzvah Projects for Bar and Bat Mitzvah kids, a practice which has been adopted nationally. Myra was a well known Civil Rights and Soviet Jewry activist. She spearheaded the movement to bring Vietnamese Boat People to New Jersey.
