FUNERAL DETAILS
Dr. Sheldon SonkinDr. Sheldon Sonkin, 75, of West Bloomfield, Michigan, died on 19 September 2006. The Funeral was held at IRA KAUFMAN CHAPEL on Thursday, 21 September 2006 at 12:00 PM . Rabbi Daniel Nevins and Cantor Larry Vieder officiated. Interment at Clover Hill Park Cemetery.
The family of Dr. Sheldon Sonkin will be gathering through the evening of Friday, September 22 at the residence, 3145 Bloomfield Shore Drive, West Bloomfield MI 48323. The phone number is (248) 855-1614. Religious services will be conducted at 7:00 PM on Thursday evening. Due to the Holy Days of Rosh Hashanah, the shiva period concludes on Friday at sundown, however the family will continue to gather informally and accept family and friends through Tuesday evening. The shiva house is located South of Lone Pine and West off of Middlebelt. Family members include: Beloved husband of Sydelle Sonkin. Dear father of Rebecca(Josh)Cascade, Joel Sonkin and the late Paul Warren Sonkin. Devoted son of the late Harry and the late Ida Sonkin. Loving brother of the late Seymour Sonkin. Cherished brother-in-law of Larry and Susan Becker. He is also survived by a world of loving uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
