Mr. Franklin Z. Adell



Mr. Franklin Z. Adell, 78, of Bloomfield Hills, Michigan, died after sunset on 13 August 2006.

The Funeral was held at IRA KAUFMAN CHAPEL on Wednesday, 16 August 2006 at 10:00 AM .

Rabbi Harold Loss, The Reverend Jessie Jackson, Cantor Harold Orbach and Aretha Franklin officiated. Interment at Clover Hill Park Cemetery.

The family of Mr. Franklin Z. Adell will be gathering through the evening of Thursday, August 17.

Shiva will be observed privately by the immediate family.

Beloved Husband of the Late Sharron Adell; Dear Father of Laurie(Dr. Jeffrey)Fischgrund, Julie(Paul)Verona and Kevin(Joelle)Adell; Loving PaPa Frankie of Andrew Goldman, Melanie Goldman, Bradley Verona, Brandon Verona, Jessica Verona and Savonna Adell; Also Survived by his Companion Patricia Rodzik and Jeffrey's children Michelle, Marcy and Mark Fischgrund.

Franklin Z. Adell is the Founder and Chairman of the World Network, Satellit Television Network(STN) and WADL TV 38 in Metro Detroit. The World Network is the undisputed source for Urban Ministries and Gospel Music. The Word Network is seen in over 42 million homes in the United States through a variety of satellite and cable providers including Direct TV, Comcast and Time Warner Cable just to name a few. The Word Network is seen in over 200 countries, 8 continents and seen annually by more than 5 billion people. He was a founder and partner in Adell Industries in Novi. Upon moving Adell Industries to Dallas in 1989, he convinced the city to change the zoning and make his 30,000 square foot building into the Novi Expo Center.
