Mr. Sidney KortMr. Sidney Kort, 73, of Boynton Beach, Florida, formerly of Michigan, died on 04 August 2006. The Funeral was held at IRA KAUFMAN CHAPEL on Sunday, 06 August 2006 at 3:30 PM . Rabbi Jonathan Berkun and Rabbi Eric Yanoff officiated. Interment at Adat Shalom Memorial Park, 28500 W 6 Mile Road, Livonia MI 48152.
The family of Mr. Sidney Kort will be gathering through the evening of Tuesday, August 08 at the residence of Sandra and Alan Bittker, 25764 Franklin Park Court, Franklin MI 48025. The phone number is (248) 539-1955. Religious services will be conducted at 7:30 PM on Sunday, Monday and Tuesday evenings. Family members include: Beloved husband of Maxine Kort. Dear father of Connie(Barry)Silverman, Jacalyn(Ron)Pomerantz, Sandra(Alan)Bittker, Denise Kort. Devoted grandfather of Carrie(Josh)Cohen, Marci Brown and her fiance, Eric Pierce, Danny, Jeremy and Bradley Bittker, Samuel Pomerantz. Loving great grandfather of Isaac Cohen. Cherished brohter of Arthur Kort, Phillip Kort, Harold Kort, Jack(Paula)Kort, the late Sylvia Hitow, the late Nora Lazaroff, the late Aubrey Kort and the late Annabel Stark. Also survived by his devoted caregivers, Michelle Lejean and Nettie Reis.
