Gerald Katz of West Bloomfield, Michigan, died on 18 February 2013. The funeral was held at The Davidson/Hermelin Chapel at Clover Hill Park on Thursday, 21 February 2013 at 11:30 AM . Rabbi Harold Loss and Cantor Michael Smolash officiated. Interment at Clover Hill Park Cemetery.

Cherished father of Marcie (Eric) Lipsitt, Michael (Victoria) Katz, and Lori (Kenneth) Cantor. Loving Grandpa Jerry of Andrew Lipsitt, Logan Katz, Teddi, Spencer, and Zachary Cantor. Dear brother of the Late Herbert Katz. Devoted son of the Late Jack and the Late Mildred Katz. Brother in law of Fred and Martha Fuerst.
