Originated in 1989, AfterCare Services was conceived by Ilene Kaufman Techner, continuing a tradition of The Ira Kaufman Chapel, established by her late grandfather over half a century ago.

As the granddaughter, daughter and wife of a funeral director, Ilene is uniquely qualified.

She possesses the personal and professional background to comprehend your special situation as well as the experience to respond appropriately.

Having suffered a great personal loss in the death of her first child, Ilene understands intimately the personal difficulties of survivors in attending to life's details.

Through AfterCare Services, Ilene uses her knowledge and experience to listen, share important information and provide direction to families.
